These terms govern your use of Church Member — the member app (iOS, Android, and web), the church admin dashboard, and the partner portal. By creating an account or otherwise using Church Member, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Anyone who signs up under a participating church to get a digital membership card, check into services, and access partner benefits.
Church staff who manage their church's membership, services, and communications through the admin dashboard.
Local businesses approved by a church to publish discounts and redeem them for that church's members through the partner portal.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your access code or password confidential. Member accounts are approved by church admins, who may also reset or revoke access at their discretion. You can permanently delete your own member account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone in the app.
Church Member is a platform used by many independent churches. Each church's members, services, partners, and data are isolated from every other church on the platform. A church admin is responsible for their own church's content — service information, notifications, and member management decisions are theirs, not the platform operator's.
You agree not to:
Partner businesses are solely responsible for the offers they publish and the goods or services they provide. Church Member verifies that a member is Active and that a redemption belongs to the correct partner, but doesn't guarantee the availability, quality, or terms of any individual offer — those are between the member and the partner business.
The Church Member name, logo, and app are owned by the platform operator. Content you submit (such as a profile photo, a church's service information, or a partner's offer details) remains yours or your church's, but you grant us the license needed to display it within the service to the people it's meant for.
Church Member is provided "as is." We work to keep the service reliable and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Attendance status, partner offers, and church information are only as accurate as what's entered by churches, partners, and members themselves.
To the extent permitted by law, the platform operator isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Church Member, including disputes between a member and a partner business, or between a member and their church.
A church admin may remove a member or partner from their church at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the platform for violations of these terms. You can stop using the service, or delete your member account entirely, at any time.
If these terms change in a material way, the effective date above will be updated and, if appropriate, members will be notified in-app.
